Kids Create ART works with schools and community organizations to design and lead collaborative art projects tailored to classroom curriculum, cultural expression or community-building through art.
We believe that there are no mistakes in art, because art is not a thing, it’s a way. We teach art as a process of joyful curiosity, self-expression, and learning.
Each session in our after school programs, we build a mixed media curriculum around a different theme; such as the insect world, the circus, architecture, etc. In each class we focus on introducing art vocabulary and specific elements of design. Students imagine, play, sketch, problem solve, and explore as they work collaboratively and independently to create an artwork.
