Nicole Appell is a Seattle artist who specializes in working with youth in community art projects. Since 2000, she has exhibited her work locally, and taught art to children and adults at many organizations including Kirkland Arts Center, Frye Art Museum, University of Washington Summer Youth Programs, and Seattle and Lake Washington Public Schools. A graduate of the University of Washington School of Art, Nicole studied Interdisciplinary Visual Arts, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and fiber arts.

Nadine Smith is a Seattle-based artist whose diverse interests include designing and implementing community art works, working as an artist in residence in public schools, and teaching specialized studio classes for kids and adults. Nadine’s work includes collaborative art projects funded by various organizations, including the Refugee Women Alliance, Safe Futures Youth Center and the Pike Place Market Foundation. She has taught art classes at the UW Summer Youth Program and many Seattle public schools. Nadine received her Masters in Creative Arts and Learning from Lesley University, and holds Bachelors degrees in Fine Arts and Communication.

Alisha Dall’Osto lives and works in Seattle, Washington. She currently paints at her studio in Ballard and teaches art at the Rotary Boys & Girls Club. She also teaches in several elementary schools with fellow teaching artists Nicole Appell and Nadine Smith. She is a graduate of Kenyon College, where she studied painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. Since graduating, Alisha has continued making art, teaching, and advocating for high-quality educational and creative youth programs in her community.
